"Clean air and good health is a necessity for all, however an improved scrappage scheme with a delayed implementation of ULEZ alongside a graduated timeline for charges over a four year period would assist workers and carers, among others, make the transition.
"GMB has members in many sectors who are suffering from the cost of living crisis, the extra expense of £12.50 a day to go to work for thousands of people, at this precarious time is simply unjust and out of touch”.
