GMB Union members working at Anglian Windows have voted to accept a much-improved pay deal, ending months of deadlock.
Workers rejected multiple previous pay offers and were about to be balloted for industrial action.
Pay increases range from 2.5 per cent to 21.4 per cent, with the average pay award at almost 8 per cent.
These will be backdated to October 2025 and paid in time for Christmas.
The largest pay uplifts will benefit some of the lowest paid workers in the company.
The offer also improves sick pay entitlements and includes a retirement gift.
Keith Dixon, GMB Regional Organiser, said:
“GMB Union and Anglian Windows worked into the night to find a pay deal which would be acceptable to the workforce and remove the need for industrial action, which was scheduled to be balloted upon the following week.
“GMB members working within Anglian Windows have for several years been underpaid and did not receive equal terms and conditions.
“Our members are happy that areas of disparity are now being addressed.”
