Welcome to
GMB Ability
GMB Ability is a self-organised group of disabled people challenging workplace stereotypes and promoting inclusion by focusing on [ability] rather than disability.
We are a newly established self-organised forum of like-minded empowered self-defined disabled people actively campaigning against and questioning stereotypes surrounding disability in the workplace, challenging employers to look past the ‘dis’ un disability and to look at the [ability] of the person.
Striving for the day when as self-defined people we will not be judged by our disability but by the strength of our character and our [ability] to get the job done. If you need help with workplace issues, concerns or problems, we will do our best to offer you advice.
