Uber’s court of appeal hearing set for 31 October and 1 November

GMB, the union for taxi and professional hire drivers, have commented on the announcement that Uber’s Court of Appeal hearing will take place on 31 October and 1 November 2018. [See notes to editors for previous GMB press releases on Uber]
Steve Garelick, GMB Regional Officer said:
“Further delays in finally proving the original decision was the right one will leave workers at the mercy of companies which play fast and loose with their lives.
“This case is important to workers in many spheres and hopefully will solidify the various work types within the UK.”
